GfK Chart-Track this week said Capcom Co., Ltd.’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 5, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch 2, and the PC ranked as the top-selling title in the latest retail data from the UK.

Between Sept. 20 and Sept. 26, Onimusha: Way of the Sword ranked as the No. 15 software in the All Formats Chart.

The PS5 held 73 percent of sales, the Xbox held nine percent of sales, the Nintendo Switch 2 held eight percent of sales and the PC held 10 percent of sales.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is an all-new entry in the action franchise.

In the title, a samurai who wields the Oni Gauntlet battles underworld monsters called Genma in Edo-era Kyoto.

It has sold one million units at global retail.

Cumulative sales for the franchise have surpassed 10 million units.
