Samsung drops Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Fold 8, Flip 8

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. this week released the has Galaxy Z Fol8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Flip 8 foldable devices.

The Fold 8 Ultra refines the flagship foldable with a larger 8-inch main anti-reflective display, a slimmer 4.1 mm unfolded profile, and a lightweight 215 g build.

Its camera system bouts a 200MP main sensor, dual 50 MP ultra-wide cameras, and 8K video recording.

A new 5,000 mAh battery boasts dual-path charging, and improved graphite cooling.

The final product packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU. It is sold at $2,099.99.

The new wide format Galaxy Z Fold 8 flexes a squat 5.5-inch 10:16 cover screen that unfolds to a wide 7.6-inch 4:3 anti-reflective main display optimized for reading, gaming, and cinematic viewing at only 201g in weight.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 boasts the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU and new Flex Titanium display structure for stronger durability as the Fold 8 Ultra.

In addition, the Fold 8 features dual 50MP cameras, Dual Recording, and the My FanCam—an AI tool that automatically tracks subjects and reframes footage for social-ready videos.

It is sold at $1899.99.

Finally, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 clamshell foldable is now the slimmest and lightest Flip at 180 g and 6.1 mm thick. It introduces a redesigned AI-native FlexWindow, bringing glanceable insights, app shortcuts, and Gemini-powered automation directly to the cover screen.

The final product includes the 50MP ProVisual Engine camera for improved portraits, natural skin tones, and stabilized video with Super Steady and Horizontal Lock. It is sold at $1,199.99.

All three models are offered in Graphite and Cream with exclusive colors such as Violet Shadow (Fold 8 Ultra), Lavender (Fold 8), and Pink (Flip 8). Online-exclusive colors include Green Shadow, Pistachio, and Mint.
