Activision Blizzard Inc. this week announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 5, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Series X}|S, Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch 2 and the PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will include trench warfare in Korea, close-quarters combat in New York, chases through Paris, and night raids in Mumbai.

New to the title is Ballistic Authority, a unified gunplay engine that synchronizes bullet trajectory, weapon motion, operator stance, camera behavior, audio, FOV, and target visibility.

The final game will include competitive multiplayer, DMZ extraction mode, cross-play, and cross-progression. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will include Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.

It will be sold Oct. 23.
