Nintendo Co., Ltd. this month said Mario Kart World for the Nintendo Switch 2 sold 14.7 million units in global territories.

The sales figure, ending Mar. 31, 2026, includes games bundled with the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.

Mario Kart World is a new entry in the kart racing franchise that includes 24-driver races and connected race courses.

The Knockout Tour mode allows users to race through back-to-back courses and checkpoints with no pit stops in an elimination marathon. In addition, Free Roam lets racers drive in any direction to any course.

Mario Kart World sells at $79.99.
