Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S ranked as the No. 4 best-selling video game hardware in the latest retail data from Japan.
Famitsu this month said the Xbox Series X|S sold 246 units to rank as the No. 4 best-selling hardware between Apr. 20 and Apr. 26.
For the period, the Xbox Series X Digital Edition sold 147 units, the Xbox Series X sold 223 units, and the Xbox Series S sold 84 units.
In Q2, the More Personal Computing division, which includes the Xbox business, reported $14.3 billion in revenue. Gaming revenue decreased nine percent during this period.
Xbox content and services revenue declined by five percent from one year prior.
In addition, Xbox hardware sales decreased by 32 percent compared to the previous year.
