Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S ranked as the No. 4 best-selling video game hardware in the latest retail data from Japan.
Famitsu this month said the Xbox Series X|S sold 1,188 units to rank as the No. 4 best-selling hardware between Feb. 16 and Feb. 22.
For the period, the Xbox Series X Digital Edition sold 294 units, the Xbox Series X sold 760 units, and the Xbox Series S sold 134 units.
In Q2, the More Personal Computing division, which includes the Xbox business, reported $14.3 billion in revenue. Gaming revenue decreased nine percent during this period.
Xbox content and services revenue declined by five percent from one year prior.
In addition, Xbox hardware sales decreased by 32 percent compared to the previous year.
