Nintendo Co., Ltd. this week recorded 17 million Nintendo Switch 2 units sold to date in its latest quarterly financial report.

In Q3, Nintendo revenue totaled $5.2 billion, an increase of 86 percent from the year prior.

Operating profit totaled at $955 million, a 21.3 percent increase from the year prior.

It sold seven million Nintendo Switch 2 hardware units and 11.95 software units in the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 hardware units sold totaled 17.37 million units to date. Software sales totaled 37.93 million units to date.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch has sold 155.37 million hardware units to date to become the best-selling Nintendo hardware of all time.

Nintendo held its sales forecast at 19 million Nintendo Switch 2 units and 48 million Nintendo Switch 2 software units in fiscal year 2026.
