Circana this week said Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch 2 ranked as the No. 1 hardware in the U.S. in the latest domestic retail data.

In Sept., Nintendo Switch 2 ranked as the No. 1 hardware in units and dollar sales.

In Q1, Nintendo revenue totaled $3.8 billion, an increase of 132 percent from the year prior.

Operating profit totaled at $378 million, a four percent increase from the year prior.

It sold 5.82 million Nintendo Switch 2 hardware units in the quarter ending June 30, 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 software sales totaled 8.67 million units to date.

Nintendo maintained a forecast of 15 million Nintendo Switch 2 units and 45 million Nintendo Switch 2 software units in fiscal year 2026.
