Apple Inc. this week released the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus sports the new A18 chip for faster performance and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. In addition, the chip allows owners to play AAA game titles previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro.

A new Camera Control slider allows users to press to capture photos or slide to adjust the zoom. A new 12MP Ultra Wide camera can take macro photography and take special videos for Apple Vision Pro. The 48MP Fusion camera incorporates a 2X optical Telephoto option.

Finally, the phones will be ready for Apple Intelligence AI features, including Writing Tools, Smart Reply in Mail, and Priority Notifications, when it launches in Oct.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro start at $799 and $899, respectively.
