ASUS to drop ROG Flow X13, ROG Strix SCAR 17

ASUS Republic of Gamers this week announced new laptops that include AMD Ryzen 5000-Series Mobile CPUs and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPUs.

The ROG Flow X13 is a 13-inch ultra-portable gaming notebook to include the AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS mobile CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, 120Hz FHD or 4K panel, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 link. In addition, the product can connect to the XG Mobile dock which includes an external Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU.

The ROG Flow X13 + XG Mobile with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU will be sold at $2,999.99.

The ROG Strix SCAR 17 will include up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX mobile CPU, up to a GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, up to 32GB dual-channel DDR-3200Mhz, and up to a 360Hz FHD panel with 3ms response time. The final product will include a 90Wh battery for up to 12 hours of video playback.

It will be sold in Q1 2021.

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE will include up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX mobile CPU, up to a GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, 120Hz 4K display or 300Hz FHD display, and Active Aerodynamic System Plus cooling system.

It will be sold at $2,899.99.

Additional products to be sold in 2021 include the ROG Claymore II mechanical RGB gaming keyboard and the ROG Gladius III Wireless gaming mouse.
