Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S ranked as the No. 3 best-selling video game hardware in the latest retail data from Japan.
Famitsu this week said the Xbox Series X|S sold 20,534 units to rank as the No. 3 best-selling hardware between Nov. 9 and Nov. 15.
For the week, the Xbox Series X sold 16,247 units and the Xbox Series S sold 4,287 units.
The Xbox Series X includes an 8-core 3.8Ghz Custom Zen 2 CPU and 12TFLOPS 1.825 Ghz Custom RDNA 2 GPU by AMD, 16GB GDDR6 RAM, 1TB Custom NVME SSD, 1TB Expansion Card, USB 3.2 External HDD Support, and a 4K UHD Blu-ray disc drive.
Graphics fidelity includes 4K at 60FPS, up to 120FPS fidelity, Variable Refresh Rate, Variable Rate Shading, and 8K functionality.
The Xbox Series S is 60 percent smaller than the Xbox Series X, includes a custom 512GB NVME SSD, and is all digital with no optical drive.
Graphics fidelity includes 1440p at up 120FPS, DirectX ray tracing, Variable Refresh Rate, Variable Rate Shading, 4K streaming media playback, and 4K upscaling for games.
