Microsoft Corp. sold out additional inventory for the Xbox Series X in Japan due to strong demand.

This week, Amazon.com JP sold out of Xbox Series X pre-order units to online customers.

The hardware had previously sold out at Amazon JP, Yodobashi, and Microsoft Store Japan.

The Xbox Series X will include an 8-core 3.8Ghz Custom Zen 2 CPU and 12TFLOPS 1.825Ghz Custom RDNA 2 GPU by AMD, 16GB GDDR6 RAM, 1TB Custom NVME SSD, and a 4K UHD Blu-ray disc drive.

Graphics fidelity includes 4K at 60FPS, up to 120FPS fidelity, Variable Refresh Rate, Variable Rate Shading, and 8K functionality.

The Xbox Series X will be released Nov. 12.
