Microsoft Corp. this week released cloud gaming functionality to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service at no additional cost.
Formerly known as Project xCloud, the game streaming option allows users to play Xbox Game Pass titles on an Android-based phone or tablet.
Titles include Minecraft Dungeons, Gears of War 5, Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Horizon 4, Hot Shot Racing, Killer Instinct DE, Overcooked! 2, Resident Evil 7, Streets of Rage 4, and Yakuza Kiwami 2.
Game streaming requires a mobile device with Android version 6.0 or greater, Bluetooth version 4.0+, Xbox Wireless Controller with Bluetooth, 5Ghz Wi-Fi or mobile data connection at 10Mbps down, and the Xbox Game Streaming App.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes access to more than 100 games for console, PC and Android mobile devices, Xbox Game Studios titles the same day as release, member discounts and deals, and Xbox Live Gold at $14.99 per month.
