Intel deploys 11th Gen Intel Core processors for laptops

Intel this week released 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics for thin-and-light laptops.

The 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs are said to offer 2.7X faster content creation, 20 percent faster office productivity, and 2X faster gaming.

In addition, the CPUs leverage new SuperFin technology to optimize power efficiency and higher frequencies than prior generations.

Intel Iris Xe graphics are a system-on-chip will carry optimized CPU, GPU, AI acceleration and software optimization. The SoC will offer frequency of up to 4.8Ghz, up to 96 graphics EUs, and up to 16MB of L3 cache.

Iris Xe graphics will be included in select Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 11th Gen CPUs.

Finally, the new Intel Evo platform will certify 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs with Intel Iris Xe graphics to target consistent responsiveness on battery, system to wake from sleep in less than 1 second, nine or more hours of real-world battery lfie, and fast-charging with up to a four-hour charge in under 30 minutes with FHD displays.
