Nintendo Co., Ltd. this week released a free final update to Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch.

The final update includes World Maker mode in which users can tie multiple courses together on a path on the world map to the end castle. Up to eight worlds that contain a total of 40 courses can be combined.

In addition, all seven Koopalings can be added to user-created courses.

Finally, the update contains additional power-ups including the SMB2 Mushroom, Frog Suit from Super Mario Bros. 3, and the Power Balloon from Super Mario World.

Super Mario Maker 2 includes new tools and features, including slopes and Super Mario 3D World integration.

The title includes a single-player Story Mode to complete more than 100 original courses and earn coins to rebuild Princess Peach’s Castle.

New course themes include Desert, Snow, Forest and Sky.

Super Mario World 3D style allows users to climb courses as Cat Mario and use items like Clear Pipes and Warp Boxes.

The Course World online hub allows users to share and browse uploaded courses.

In addition, four users can compete in Multiplayer Versus mode to clear the course first. In Multiplayer Co-op mode, all users work together to complete the course.
