Pre-order shipments for the Apple Inc.’s iPhone SE, a second-generation version of its budget phone series, have fallen to the month of May due to strong demand.
This week, delivery times for the iPhone SE have fallen from Apr. 24 to the month of May. The 64GB, 128GB SKU, and the 256GB SKU hold a delivery times between May 6 to May 13.
The iPhone SE is sold in Black, White and (PRODUCT) RED. The 64GB SKU sells at $399, 128GB at $449 and 256GB at $549.
The iPhone SE will include the A13 Bionic CPU found in the current iPhone 11. In addition, it will feature a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and Touch ID found in the prior iPhone 8.
The single-camera system includes a 12MP f/1.8 aperture Wide camera in combination with the Neural Engine from the A13 for computational photography, including Portrait mode.
The final product will include wireless charging, fast charging, IP67 resistant rating, and 4K 60FPS video from the main camera. Battery life is said to be similar to the iPhone 8 at 13 hours of video playback or eight hours of streaming video.
