Sony Corp. this month said The Last of Us Part II for the PlayStation 4 will be delayed indefinitely due to the current global economic crisis.

It was scheduled to be released in May after being delayed from Feb. 2020.

Developer Naughty Dog said it is near the end of development and fixing final bugs for the game.

A new release date is to be determined.

The Last of Us Part II is a third-person survival action title set five years after The Last of Us.

The final game will include shooting and melee action against hordes of enemies.
