Activision Blizzard Inc. this month said Call of Duty: Warzone for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 4, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One, and the PC has totaled 30 million users.

Call of Duty: Warzone, released in Mar., is a free-to-play title in which users team up in three-person squads to battle in Battle Royale and Plunder game modes.

Warzone takes place in Verdansk which includes over 300 points of interest and different environment types.

New mechanics include The Gulag in Battle Royale in which an eliminated player will be taken to the Gulag and enter a 1v1 face-off to earn redeployment.

The final game includes cross-platform functionality across hardware platforms and does not require Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
