Microsoft price cuts Xbox One X to $199

Microsoft Corp. this week began offering $200 off the Xbox One X in a new sales promotion.

This week, customers who purchase the stand-alone Xbox One X console at $199.00.

The price cut is prior to the release of the Xbox Series X.

The Xbox Series X will include an 8-core 3.8Ghz Custom Zen 2 CPU and 12TFLOPS 1.825 Ghz Custom RDNA 2 GPU by AMD, 16GB GDDR6 RAM, 1TB Custom NVME SSD, 1TB Expansion Card, USB 3.2 External HDD Support, and a 4K UHD Blu-ray disc drive.

It will be backwards compatible to all prior Xbox consoles, including Xbox One gaming accessories.

The Xbox Wireless Controller will include a brand new D-pad with a deeper dish and fine-tuned angles, tactile dot pattern on triggers and bumpers, and shape refinement to accommodate a wider range of hand sizes.

Finally, it will include better cross-device connectivity, easier sharing and reduced latency.
