Nintendo Co., Ltd. this week launched online multiplayer functionality to Mario Kart Tour for iOS and Android devices.

The real-time multiplayer mode allows users to compete in Standard Races against other player locally or around the world.

Mario Kart Tour is a free-to-start kart racing title that includes trademark characters, karts and gliders, and new courses based on real-world locations.

The final game includes Frenzy mode to grant a temporary unlimited supply of a certain item and invincibility.

A Nintendo Account is required to play Mario Kart Tour.
