Sony Corp. this week price cut the PlayStation Plus 12-Month Membership by 25 percent in a new sales initiative.

This week, the PS Plus 12-Month Membership sells at $44.99, down from the $59.99 MSRP.

PlayStation Plus includes online multiplayer functionality, free PS4 games each month, and exclusive PlayStation Store sales and discounts.
