Motorola Mobility LLC this week announced the new razr smartphone, an update to the clamshell phone.
The razr includes a new full-length Flex View 6.2-inch pOLED 2142 x 876 resolution screen that can fold in half when closed. The exterior includes a Quick View 600 x 800 resolution gOLED screen for notifications and a selfie camera view.
Components include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core CPU at 2.2Ghz, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, fingerprint reader, 2,510 mAh battery, USB-Type C input, and 15W TurboPower charging.
The final product includes water-resistant coating and Android 9 Pie.
The razr will be sold exclusively at Verizon Wireless in the U.S. at $1499.99 Jan. 9, 2020. Pre-order sales begin Dec. 26.
