Sony Corp. this month said the PlayStation Now service for PlayStation 4 and the PC has reached more than one million subscribers.
It held 700,000 subscribers in May.
PlayStation Now is a cloud-based streaming gaming service that allows users to download a back catalog of 300+ PS4 and PS2 titles and stream 800+ PS4, PS3 and PS2 titles to the PS4 or PC.
Usage includes continuous play of PS Now games between the PS4 and the PC.
Pricing is $9.99 per month, $24.99 per quarter or $59.99 per year.
Sony in Oct. said the Game and Network Services division, which includes the PlayStation business, recorded revenue of $4.23 billion in Q2. It held a operating income of $605 million.
