Microsoft Corp. this week released Minecraft Earth to New Zealand and Iceland for iOS and Android.

Minecraft Earth is a new augmented reality mobile game in which users can gather resources, craft items, and build virtual structures in life-size AR.

The final game allows users to utilize unique variants to populate a custom build.

Minecraft Earth requires a Microsoft or Xbox Live account to track progress, and save builds and inventory.
