Microsoft Corp. this month said Minecraft: Xbox One Edition owners can update to the Bedrock version at no cost until Nov. 30th.
Under the terms, consumers who own a physical copy of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and have played five hours in the last 12 months or have purchased DLC are eligible to receive a free update to the Bedrock version.
The Bedrock update allows including cross-platform multiplayer functionality with iOS, Android, Windows 10 Edition, Gear VR, and Nintendo Switch users.
In addition, it includes Update Aquatic, Village & Pillage, and upcoming updates.
