Microsoft Corp. this week announced the Mortal Kombat 11 Free Trial Weekend for the Xbox One.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Xbox One Free Trial Weekend allows users to preview all multiplayer game modes, character customization, and two chapters from the Story mode.

The Free Trial Weekend will conclude Oct. 14. An Xbox Live Gold membership is required.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest entry in the fighting franchise and includes an all-new story mode, custom character variation system, and brand new fatalities.

The final game includes a roster of fan favorite characters, including Baraka, Raiden, Skarlet, Scorpia, Sonya Blade, and Sub-Zero.
