Apple Inc. this month began offering a free repair program for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices that may not power on due to component failure.
The issue is said to affect devices manufactured between Oct. 2018 and Aug. 2019.
Customers can enter their serial number to verify eligibility for a free repair.
Eligible devices can be serviced at an Apple Authorized Service Provider, an Apple Retail store, or by mail at the Apple Repair Center.
