Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Live service went down this week in a service outage that limited major services.
In the outage, Xbox Live Core Services, which includes signing in and managing an account, held a limited status. In addition, Purchase and Content Usage held a limited status.
Microsoft said it is aware of sign-in errors and is investigating the issues.
In Q4, Microsoft said gaming revenue totaled $2.05 billion, a 10 percent decline from one year prior.
In addition, Xbox hardware revenue declined 48 percent due to lower volume of consoles sold.
Xbox Live monthly active users totaled 65 million users in the period.
