Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch hardware ranked as the top hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.
Famitsu this week said the Nintendo Switch sold 36,613 units between July 29 to Aug. 2 to rank as the No. 1 hardware for the week.
It sold 42,689 units the week prior.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses ranked as the No. 2 title in the period selling 35,804 units for the week.
In Q1, Nintendo recorded an operating profit of $252 million and revenue of $1.58 billion.
Between Apr. and June, the Nintendo Switch sold 2.13 million units.
In addition, it sold 22.62 million units of software in the period.
The Nintendo Switch has sold 36.87 million units to date.
It plans to sell 18 million Nintendo Switch units in the current fiscal year.
