Capcom Co., Ltd. this week released the Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 4.
PS4 owners can enter the second beta between June 28 and July 1. The base game is not required to enter the beta.
Monster Hunter: World Iceborne, to be sold Sept. 6, is a DLC expansion that will include new quest ranks, locales, monsters, moves and gear, in addition to a new story that begins after the events of Monster Hunter: World.
The PC SKU will be released this winter.
The DLC download will sell at $39.99.
The Monster Hunter: World Iceborne Master Edition, which will include the physical base game and expansion, will sell at $59.99.
The Master Edition Deluxe will include a Steelbook case and the Iceborne Deluxe Kit DLC at $79.99.
Monster Hunter: World is an open world action RPG that include cooperative gameplay and large boss battles.
The title has sold 10 million units at global retail.
The Monster Hunter franchise has sold more than 50 million units to date.
