NPD Group Inc. this week said Sega Europe Ltd.’s Total War: Three Kingdoms for PC ranked as a best-selling title in May at U.S. retail.

In May, Total War: Three Kingdoms ranked as the No. 3 best-selling software across all platforms based on dollar sales.

Developed by Creative Assembly, Total War: Three Kingdoms is a strategy title set in 190CE in which three heroes challenge Dong Zhuo’s merciless rule.

The final game includes turn-based empire-building and real-time battles.
