Nintendo Labo VR Kit functionality deploys to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Nintendo Co., Ltd this week released Nintendo Labo: VR Kit functionality for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, owners can use the Toy-Con VR Goggles to spectate limited, timed and offline battles, and battle the CPU as P1.

The Nintendo Labo: VR Kit, to be sold Apr. 12, will include six new Toy-Con projects, including Toy-Con VR Goggles, Toy-Con Blaster, Toy-Con Camera, Toy-Con Bird, Toy-Con Wind Pedal and Toy-Con Elephant at $79.99.

A Starter Set that includes only the Toy-Con VR Goggles and Toy-Con Blaster will be sold at $39.99.

Optional expansion sets will sell at $19.99.

The Toy-Con VR Goggles can be used in conjunction with six new Toy-Con projects. Each project, from a Blaster to a Wind Pedal, are used in a total of 64 mini-games. Finally, users can enter the Toy-Con Garage VR to create custom VR games.

Nintendo Labo is a line of interactive building kits that allow users to construct cardboard toys that utilize the Nintendo Switch hardware called Toy-Cons.

Toy-Cons include a piano, fishing rod, motorbike, and RC car.

Prior SKUs include the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit, the Robot Kit, and the Vehicle Kit.

Nintendo Labo has sold 1.39M units as of fiscal June 2018.
