Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. this week announced the Samsung Galaxy A80, a mid-range phone that trades a notch for an new camera system.
The Galaxy A80 features the company’s first rotating camera. When users enter the selfie mode, a slider mechanism behind the main display slides up and flips the rear cameras forward to allow for same-quality front and rear photos.
The setup includes a 48MP, F2.0 main camera, ultra wide 8MP, F2.2 camera and 3D Depth camera.
In addition, the hardware includes a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, 3,700mAh battery, quick charge at 25W, on-screen fingerprint sensor and an Octa Core CPU.
The final product will be sold in Phantom Black, Angel Gold and Ghost White variants.
It will be sold May 29. A price is to be determined.
