Sega Games Co., Ltd. this month said it will adjust a character model in Judgment for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 4.
The company said the character model and Japanese voice for Kyohei Hamura will be adjusted for the U.S. release following the arrest of Pierre Taki, the actor used to model and voice Hamura in Japan.
Taki was arrested in Mar. for alleged possession and use of cocaine.
Sega has subsequently suspended sales of Judgement in Japan. In addition, it has temporary removed screenshots and trailers featuring Hamura from all of Sega’s official channels.
Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku, Judgment is a courtroom thriller title in which users must play detective to trail and observe targets, solve mysteries, and fight thugs.
The retail SKU will include a reversible cover and dual audio.
Consumers who pre-order the digital version will receive access to the full game June 21.
It will be sold June 25.
