Sprint this week said it will partner with Hatch to deliver a 5G cloud gaming service to Sprint customers.
The subscription service, which requires a flat monthly fee, is said to offer customers unlimited on-demand access to more than 100 premium mobile games, competitive leaderboards, voice chat, and live tournaments.
Select games and features will work outside of 5G coverage.
In comparison to traditional mobile games, the service will not require downloads or updates.
Sprint will launch 5G service in select U.S. cities in May.
