Capcom Co., Ltd. this week will release Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo for the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One and the PC.

Resident Evil 2 is a remake of Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation.

The final game will be rebuilt with the RE Engine used in Resident Evil 7. In addition, it will include a new over-the-shoulder camera and modernized controls.

The 4th Survivor will include Hunk, a mercenary who holds the G-Virus and must escape Raccoon City.

The Tofu Survivor is the same mission armed only with a combat knife and some herbs. However, Tofu can run when injured and can incur more damage than normal.

Both will be included in the retail SKU at no additional cost.

Through Jan. 31, customers can download the Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo to complete the mission in 30 minutes and view a brand new cinematic trailer. After 30 minutes has expired, users cannot restart the demo but can replay the trailer.

It will be sold Jan. 25.
