This week, PUNCH JUMP previewed Capcom Co., Ltd.’s Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo for the PlayStation 4.
In the demo, Leon S. Kennedy arrives at the Raccoon Police Department to find it infested with zombies.
Zombies reacted realistically to bullet damage, from headshot flinches to legs that buckled down a staircase.
The PS4 build held at a solid 30 frames-per-second with detailed character models, moody lighting effects, and realistic motion capture animation.
Through Jan. 31, customers can download the Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo to complete the mission in 30 minutes and view a brand new cinematic trailer. After 30 minutes has expired, users cannot restart the demo but can replay the trailer.
Resident Evil 2 is a remake of Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation.
The final game will be rebuilt with the RE Engine used in Resident Evil 7. In addition, it will include a new over-the-shoulder camera and modernized controls.
It will be sold Jan. 25.
