Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee sell 2M units at retail

Nintendo Co., Ltd. this week said Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! for the Nintendo Switch has sold more than two million units combined at U.S. retail since launch.

The title was released Nov. 16.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are based on Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition. The updated versions include battles against other Trainers in the Kanto region.

A single player can use one Joy-Con Controller to play the game, or two players can each use a Joy-Con Controller for co-op play.

The Poké Ball Plus accessory, which can be used to play the game, can store a chosen Pokémon and broadcast its trademark sounds.

Both the Joy-Con Controller and Poké Ball Plus accessory utilize motion controls to catch Pokémon.

Finally, the title is compatible Pokémon GO. Pokémon from the Kanto region captured in the mobile title can be transferred to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!. In addition, Pokémon from Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! can be gifted to Pokémon GO users.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! sell at $59.99 each.
