Nintendo Co., Ltd. in Oct. said Epic Games’ Fortnite for the Nintendo Switch has been downloaded by nearly half of all Nintendo Switch systems worldwide.

Fortnite was released to the Nintendo Switch in June to U.S. customers.

Fortnite is a co-op survival title in which users must defend themselves against enemy waves.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free 100-player PvP battle royale stand-alone title.
