Media Create Co., Ltd this month said Bandai Namco Games America Inc.’s Soulcalibur VI for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 4 ranked in the top three software sales in the latest sales data from Japan.

Between Oct. 15 and Oct. 21, Soulcalibur VI sold 24,049 units to rank as the No. 3 best-selling software in the period.

Soulcalibur VI is the latest chapter in the 1v1 weapons-based fighting game series.

The final game includes classic characters Sophitia and Mitsurugi.
