Sales for Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch hardware ranked No. 1 in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co., Ltd. this month reported that the Nintendo Switch sold 45,762 units between Oct. 1 to Oct. 7 to rank as the No. 1 hardware for the week.

It sold 42,957 units the week prior.

Super Mario Party ranked as the No. 1 software selling 142,868 units for the week.

In Q1, Nintendo recorded an operating profit of $272 million from $1.51 billion in revenue.

Between Apr. to June, the Nintendo Switch has sold 1.88 million units.

In addition, it sold 17.96 million units of software in the period.

The company expects to sell 20 million Nintendo Switch units by the end of Mar. 2019.
