Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co., Ltd. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 7,396 units between Oct. 1 and Oct. 7 to rank as the No. 3 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 7,506 units the week prior.

In Q1, Nintendo recorded an operating profit of $272 million from $1.51 billion in revenue.

Between Apr. to June, the Nintendo 3DS sold 360,000 hardware units.

In addition, it sold 2.95 million units of Nintendo 3DS software in the period.
