Sega Games Co., Ltd.’s Valkyria Chronicles 4 for Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch ranked in the top 15 software sales in the latest retail data from Japan.

Media Create Co., Ltd. this month said the Valkyria Chronicles 4 Nintendo Switch SKU sold 5,596 units to rank as the No. 14 software between Sept. 24 and Sept. 30.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a new mainline chapter in the tactical action RPG title. Users take command of Commander Claude Wallace and Squad E to execute Operation Northern Cross to take down the Imperial Army.

The title includes the next-generation Blitz Battle System in incorporate turn-based strategy and real-time third-person shooter action.

The final game includes the CANVAS graphics engine for signature hand-drawn visual style.
