Sales for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 4 ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co., Ltd. this month reported the PS4 sold 20,406 units between Sept. 24 to Sept. 30 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.

The hardware 15,993 units the week prior.

Warriors Orochi 4 ranked as the No. 1 software selling 100,831 units for the week.

Between Apr. and June, the PS4 sold 3.2 million units. It sold 3.3 million units in the same period one year prior.

The PS4 has sold 82.2 million units at global retail to date.

It expects to sell 17 million PS4 units this fiscal year.

PS4 software sales totaled 40.6 million units in the quarter. PS4 software has sold 737.6 million units at global retail to date.

The Game and Network Services division, which includes the PlayStation business, recorded sales of $4.23 billion. It held a operating income of $748 million.
