Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co., Ltd. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 7,506 units between Sept. 24 and Sept. 30 to rank as the No. 3 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 7,100 units the week prior.

In Q1, Nintendo recorded an operating profit of $272 million from $1.51 billion in revenue.

Between Apr. to June, the Nintendo 3DS sold 360,000 hardware units.

In addition, it sold 2.95 million units of Nintendo 3DS software in the period.
