Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co., Ltd. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 8,382 units between Aug. 27 to Sept. 2 to rank as the No. 3 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 7,797 units the week prior.

WarioWare Gold ranked as the No. 12 software selling 6,217 units for the week.

In Q1, Nintendo recorded an operating profit of $272 million from $1.51 billion in revenue.

Between Apr. to June, the Nintendo 3DS sold 360,000 hardware units.

In addition, it sold 2.95 million units of Nintendo 3DS software in the period.
