NPD Group Inc. this week said Sony Corp.’s God of War for the PlayStation 4 ranked in the top 15 software sales at U.S. retail in July.

In July, God of War ranked as the No. 13 best-selling game title across all platforms for the month.

God of War is a new installment in the action combat series that includes new melee battle options, new enemies, and large boss fights.
