Media Create Co., Ltd. this month said Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Kirby Star Allies for the Nintendo Switch ranked as the No. 2 best-selling software title at Japan retail.
From Apr. 9 to Apr. 15, Kirby Star Allies sold 23,695 units to rank as the No. 2 software for the week. The title has sold 416,108 units in the region to date.
Kirby Star Allies is a side-scrolling platform title in which Kirby can recruit enemies as allies to help fight against opponents.
New abilities include the Artist ability to create support attacks and the Spider ability to wrap enemies in webs.
The final game includes four-player local co-op functionality.
