Sony Corp. this week released the PlayStation 4 System Software Update 5.53.

Software Update 5.53 improves system performance.

Software Update 5.5, released in Mar., included Play Time Management to manage play time for family members, Library UI Updates, Quick Menu Enhancements, Background Music on PS Now, option to delete Notifications, option to import custom Wallpapers via USB, customize Tournament Team Pages, and new Supersampling Mode for PS4 Pro to render a higher resolution on 4K TVs.
