Nintendo Co., Ltd. this week released the Wave 1 Update to Kirby Star Allies for the Nintendo Switch.

The Wave 1 Update includes Rick, Kine and Koo, veteran characters from the Kirby franchise.

Kirby Star Allies is a side-scrolling platform title in which Kirby can recruit enemies as allies to help fight against opponents.

New abilities include the Artist ability to create support attacks and the Spider ability to wrap enemies in webs.

The final game includes four-player local co-op functionality.
